1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of the POWPAW website and your purchase of products from us. In these terms, “POWPAW”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of this store. “You” means any visitor or customer using the website.
By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.
2. Eligibility and customer information
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete account, billing, delivery and contact information. You are responsible for keeping access to your customer account secure.
3. Products and availability
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours and appearance can vary slightly between screens and individual products. Product availability may change without notice. We may limit quantities or discontinue a product where reasonably necessary.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected or displayed by the store. Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be shown at checkout where available. You authorise us and our payment providers to charge the payment method submitted for your order. We do not store complete payment-card details.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, payment failure, pricing or listing errors, stock unavailability, delivery restrictions or a breach of these terms. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount paid.
6. Delivery
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery is 4–12 business days worldwide for destinations supported at checkout, but estimates are not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
7. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy. You may request a return within 30 days after receiving an order. Broken, damaged, faulty, misdescribed or incorrect items may be replaced or refunded as appropriate. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
8. Customer accounts
You are responsible for activity performed through your customer account and for keeping account access secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store or prevent misuse.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful purposes; interfere with its security or operation; introduce malicious code; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or copy content at unreasonable scale; impersonate another person; or use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights.
10. Intellectual property
The website's branding, graphics, written content, layout and other original materials are owned by or licensed to POWPAW and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal shopping purposes only. No rights are transferred to you except the limited right to use the website in accordance with these terms.
11. Third-party services and links
Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment, fulfilment, shipping, analytics and customer-service providers. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their independent content or practices.
12. Service availability
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer protections. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, suppliers, legal duties or business practices. The version in force when an order is placed will normally govern that order. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
15. Severability and waiver
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the laws of your home country.
